London's New Generation

The next crop of IT designers out of London were revealed by the British Fashion Council. Judged by people from ELLE, VOGUE, Topshop amongst other top fashion reps these are what the BFC are calling London's brightest emerging fashion design talents. They will be receiving BFC NEWGEN sponsorshop, supported by Topshop to show at London Fashion Week this September.

KELIS in LONDON

Kelis touched down in London Town. Anyone who is a real Kelis fan knows she was a huge success in London long before America got a taste of her milkshake. Gearing up for the London release of her album, which arrived in London almost two months before the U.S. release. The London album has already been in stores since May 15th, while the American due date is not until July.

Tis the season to give back, and it doesn't hurt to do it while still having a little bit of fun! Conduit Branding, Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network(WEEN) and Honey Collective present A Night on the Racetrack, Toy Drive Tastemakers’ holiday event benefiting My Friends’ House Foundation. The event will be held at K-1 Speed Indoor Go-Kart Racing on Tuesday, December 15th from 7-11:00 PM in Torrance, CA.

Conduit Branding, WEEN and Honey Collective have collaborated to provide a night of speed, holiday cheer and hot music spun by DJ Kaleem. K-1 Speed’s indoor go kart race track is a unique, interactive and exciting alternative to the typical holiday party scene. Attendees will experience the thrill of indoor carting, racing against other partygoers at speeds up to 40 mph in eco-friendly racecars.

Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped children’s toys valued at $10, discounting regular admission from $25 to $15. Each toy raised will be generously gifted to My Friends’ House Foundation, a Los Angeles based non-profit human service outreach organization dedicated to providing food, clothing and spiritual encouragement weekly to homeless and economically disadvantaged men, women and children on Skid Row in Los Angeles. This is a chance for industry tastemakers and those wanting to positively impact the Christmas of needy children in Los Angeles to give back. “In spite of the current economic crisis, its is still possible to have a good time and give.
