London's New Generation

The next crop of IT designers out of London were revealed by the British Fashion Council. Judged by people from ELLE, VOGUE, Topshop amongst other top fashion reps these are what the BFC are calling London's brightest emerging fashion design talents. They will be receiving BFC NEWGEN sponsorshop, supported by Topshop to show at London Fashion Week this September.

KELIS in LONDON

Kelis touched down in London Town. Anyone who is a real Kelis fan knows she was a huge success in London long before America got a taste of her milkshake. Gearing up for the London release of her album, which arrived in London almost two months before the U.S. release. The London album has already been in stores since May 15th, while the American due date is not until July.

Mickey Factz in dance class? Mickey spoke about taking dance classes to enhance his show. He also spoke about who is featured on his up coming album and expresses his excitement about the new artists being released as part of GFCny. The video then goes into the beginning of his performance as he took the stage last week at SOBs. The first song he did was "Who's Hotter" and those dance classes are really showing in his performances, but also seems like he was chaneling some fraternity steps in the beginning.

We also caught up a little with rap duo FKi. Check them out. You'll be surprised to hear what FKi stands for. And if you jump to the 3:00 mark the video goes into their perfomance. They brought a ton of energy with them.
